Introduction
Thinker studio is a robot teleoperation, data collection, and local processing platform. This repository stores the .deb installation package and supporting documentation for Thinker studio.
The current materials cover the following use cases:
- Walker Tienkung Pico teleoperation, motion recording, and data collection.
- Walker Tienkung DEX Pico teleoperation and data collection.
- Walker S2 EDU Explorer Pico teleoperation and data collection.
- PKL and HDF5 data format annotation / quality inspection.
- LeRobot v2.1 / v3.0 dataset export.
Requirements

Installation
Please complete the ROS 2 Humble environment configuration first. This installation package does not install ROS 2 Humble.
It is recommended to copy the installation package to the target machine's home directory before installing:
cd ~/
sudo apt --fix-broken install ./thinker-studio_2.0.35_amd64.debThe installation process will handle dependencies automatically via apt. The time required depends on the network speed.
Service Management
After Thinker studio is installed, the service will start automatically and be configured to start on boot.
Start the service:
sudo systemctl start thinker-studio.serviceStop the service:
sudo systemctl stop thinker-studio.serviceRestart the service:
sudo systemctl restart thinker-studio.serviceCheck the service status:
sudo systemctl status thinker-studio.serviceUninstallation
Standard uninstallation, does not delete the environment. The existing environment can be reused when reinstalling:
sudo dpkg -r thinker-studioComplete uninstallation, deletes the environment. Reinstallation will require reinstalling the dependency environment:

Installation dependency downloads are too slow
Try switching the pip source. The optimal source may vary depending on the network; please use the actual download speed as the criterion.
