10. Walker Tienkung App

The Walker Tienkung App provides auxiliary operations for the Walker Tienkung series robots. It allows users to easily configure network settings for the device, view robot status information, and control robot actions.

Connecting to the Robot

After ensuring that the mobile phone is connected to Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth permission is enabled, open the App and tap Connect Robot. The App will scan for nearby robots that are powered on. Tap the device you want to connect to, enter the robot control password (the default password can be obtained from delivery personnel), and after the control password is verified successfully, enter the password of the Wi‑Fi currently connected on the phone. Once verification succeeds, the robot connection is complete.

The robot control password can be changed in Settings → Change Robot Control Password.

Robot Status

Tap Robot Status to enter the status page. You can manually enable or disable the robot’s voice service, and view the current power level of the main and auxiliary batteries as well as the online status of certain sensors.

Voice Broadcast

  • Text creation: You can create broadcast content directly in the App. Chinese, English, and mixed Chinese‑English input are supported; other languages are not currently supported.
  • Voice broadcast: Tap a created text entry to have the robot play it via voice.
  • Stop broadcast: Tap the text entry that is currently playing again to stop playback.

Robot Control

Tap Robot Control to enter the control page, where you can switch robot states (motion modes), enable head‑mounted vision sharing, and control robot actions. To enable robot control via the App, the E lever on the remote controller must be pushed up, and the robot must be in the stand state.

  • Switch robot state: Supported states include stand, walk, run, zero pose, and stiff stop.

Note: When the robot is suspended above the ground by the stand, do not switch the robot into the stand state.

  • Robot action control: Tap an action button to send an action command; the robot will execute the corresponding action. If voice broadcast has been configured, the robot will broadcast voice output while performing the action.

Note: To ensure safety, keep the area within a 4 m radius of the robot free of obstacles during action execution. Some actions involve full‑body motion; when using the safety rope, make sure there is sufficient slack for these movements.

Language Switching

The App supports Chinese–English language switching. The path is: Settings → General Settings → App Language Settings.
